Hi! I am Yihan Hou (侯伊涵), a Year 2 PhD candidate in the Computational Media and Arts Thrust at the Information hub, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), co-supervised by Prof. Wei Zeng and Prof. Huamin Qu.

My research is grounded in Human-Computer Interaction and delves into the interplay of Visual Perception, Artificial Intelligence, and Design, focusing specifically on their integration in Perception-enhanced Design. The core objective is to develop algorithms and interactive systems that facilitate authoring tasks in visualization and color design, blending human perceptual skills with AI's computational power. This approach is aimed at streamlining the design process for intuitive and efficient outcomes, grounded in user-centric principles.

My specific interests lie in computational color design, particularly color semantics, along with dashboard design. I am exploring the application of large models to facilitate advancements in these areas.
